Basic Phrases to keep up with Saru in Spanish.
Bienvenidos y bienvenidas a nuestro podcast SayitinSpanish.
Yo soy Saru Rodríguez y soy tu profesor de español. A mí me encantan los idiomas y por eso he decidido hacer este podcast, para ayudarte a tí a aprender y practicar tu español.
Así que, ¡Gracias por estar aquí y comencemos!
Bienvenido a la clase de español
This is the first episode of this series, and in it, I will tell you about the format of this podcast and teach you the most basic vocabulary that I will be using in every episode to explain words and phrases in Spanish.
‘Cause, yes my friend, I will do my best to teach you about the Spanish language and the Hispanic cultures directly in Spanish. So today you will learn all you need to know to keep up with me.
First, let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Salvador Rodríguez, although my friends and students call me Saru. I’m from Venezuela but I have lived in Germany since 2013.
My biggest passion is learning languages and traveling around the world, and because of that I have studied several languages; I graduated in linguistics and finished 2 masters, one in theoretical linguistics and another to become a Spanish teacher.
Now, I teach Spanish at the University of Wuerzburg, in Germany, and I create courses and materials to help my students and followers improving their Spanish while they learn about the cultures and differences between all Hispanic countries. And that, my friend, is why I decided to start this podcast.
Now, this podcast is specially made for students at the beginner and intermediate levels. Each episode will be divided into 2 sections: in the beginner’s section, I will guide you through some phrases, vocabulary, and listening practices about the topic of the day, using the grammar and patterns from the A1 and A2 levels. And in the intermediate section, we will have a more free discussion about the topic using grammar and vocabulary from the B1 and B2 levels.
Now, if you are ready, let’s learn some Spanish!
